Most individuals, couples, and families are essentially healthy and resilient, but may need assistance in transitioning to a new time of life, overcoming current challenges, or learning more skillful patterns of living. This is what I do: help people to find healthier ways of living, nurture their marriage or family, or become who they really want to be. I work with individuals, couples, and families; I have experience working with many different cultures, and I am LGBT friendly. I specialize in: improving emotional intimacy and communication; healing individuals and relationships from infidelity; discernment counseling for couples on the brink of divorce; premarital counseling; coping with chronic illness, pain or disability; healing from past trauma; and managing anxiety and depression. My work is based on a combination of research-based treatments (including mindfulness and Mindsight), deep compassion, and and careful listening, and I give you a variety of powerful tools to help change your individual situation.
