My area of emphasis is with children, adolescents and families struggling with issues of trauma, mood disorders and substance abuse. Also, I have worked with adults struggling with substance use and risky behavior. I believe that honesty, compassion and acceptance define the therapy process. In addition to private practice, I am a MINT (Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers) trainer and facilitate the learning of motivational interviewing. My approaches includes CBT, TF-CBT, Family Systems, EMDR, Seeking Safety, Motivational Interviewing and play therapy.
