Sioux Falls Couples Counseling
5709 South Remington Place
Suite # 109
Sioux Falls, SD 57108

My therapy practice consists of clients who come with a variety of personal problems and relationship concerns. Whether I work with individuals, couples, or families I tend to think about the strengths and stresses of relationships and how one person's behavior may be related to the behavior of others. In terms of theory, I integrate strategic, transgenerational and solution-focused approaches. All of these therapies take into account the strengths of individual persons as well as the impact of significant relationships on their current level of functioning. Therapy consists of careful assessment followed by interventions designed to interrupt unhappy patterns and replace difficulties with something more positive. All of this is done consistent with what the client(s) want changed. I believe the best therapy occurs in the context of a nurturing and respectful relationship with the therapist. I am an ordained minister and I work from a distinctly Christian perspective though non-religious clients find me supportive and helpful.
