- Practice Description
- Dr. Macchi works with individuals, couples, and families who are experiencing depression, anxiety, and conflict associated with periods of adjustment and transition. Dr. Macchi specializes in therapeutic work with those who are trying to manage their chronic condition and the impact that management has on their important relationships. The practice is focused in two areas: PHYSICAL HEALTH CONDITIONS - This first area of focus provides therapeutic support to those of all ages and their families who experience the stresses and adjustments of managing health conditions such as:
pediatric obesity, weight loss and maintenance, and bariatric surgery. MENTAL HEALTH CONDITIONS - this second area of focus provides therapeutic support to those families with a member who has a developmental disorder or other condition such as: Asperger’s Syndrome, Severe Emotional Disturbance (SED), and Alzheimer's.

- This AAMFT Clinical Member is also an Approved Supervisor. The Approved Supervisor designation identifies those professionals who have met the educational, experiential, and supervisory training requirements to supervise marriage and family therapists, for AAMFT Clinical Membership.
